Rafael and Tigre are talking in the park. They are from Washington, D.C.
Rafael: How are you, Tigre?
Tigre: Great, Rafael, but it’s very hot today.
Rafael: Yes, we live in Washington where it is always very hot.
Tigre: It’s true, but I don’t like the heat.
Rafael: Why don’t we walk to my cousin’s party?
Tigre: Who is your cousin?
Rafael: It’s Eliza… Eliza Montesinos.
Tigre: She is very bright and very good-looking! Let’s go!
Rafael and Tigre enter Eliza’s house.
Rafael: Hi, Eliza. This is my friend, Tigre.
Eliza: Hi, Tigre. My name is Eliza. Do you like music?
Tigre: Yes, very much! I like Carlos Santana’s CD Supernatural. It’s the best!
Eliza: It’s incredible. The song “María, María” is sensational.
Tigre: Do you want to dance?

Rafael eats some Doritos and drinks a Coke.

Eliza: Rafael, your friend is very nice.
Rafael: It’s true. Eliza, Tigre and I are planning a trip to New York in a week. Do you like New York?
Eliza: Yes, very much, but my parents are very strict. They don’t want me to travel.
